What time can I leave work?
Add your required paid work time to your clock-in time, then add any unpaid lunch or break minutes. If you start at 8:30 AM, need 8 paid hours, and take a 30-minute unpaid lunch, your calculated clock-out time is 5:00 PM.
Paid vs. unpaid breaks
Only add break time here when that break should extend the time between clock-in and clock-out. Whether a break is paid or unpaid depends on the rules that apply to your work arrangement.
